On November 3, the first Chengdu-Chongqing Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Seminar was held in Chongqing, which was guided by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education, hosted by Chongqing Education Commission and Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, organized by Southwest University, aiming to implement the national strategy of "Promoting the Construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-city Economic Circle", and to enhance the quality of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education of universities in Chengdu-Chongqing area. More than 190 representatives from 83 colleges and universities in the Chengdu-Chongqing area attended the conference. Chen Yunhui, vice president of the university, led the team to participate in this meeting.

Professor Lin Jinhui, Chairman of China Society of Higher Education Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Research Branch, and Zhao Yanzhi, President of Shenyang University and Chairman of National Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Association, attended the conference and made a keynote report. After the report, four sub-forums were organised on "Party Building of Sino-foreign Cooperative University", "Quality Improvement of Sino-foreign Cooperative University Talent Cultivation", "Teacher and Management Team Building of Sino-foreign Cooperative University", and "Mechanism Building of Sino-foreign Cooperative University", in which colleges and universities from Chengdu-Chongqing area shared cases and discussed the four themes in depth.

The success of this seminar has set up a good communication platform for the development of Sino-foreign cooperation education in the Chengdu-Chongqing region. CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute will actively strengthen the cooperation and communication with other colleges and universities, continuously improve the quality of education and teaching, and further promote the cultivation of high-quality international Chinese medicine professionals to the longitudinal development.
